Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Pinkston, 30, spent the first six seasons of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles. After suffering an Achilles injury during training camp in 2005, Pinkston was released by the Eagles, then failed to hook on with the Vikings last summer. The 6-3, 180-pound Pinkston last played in a game in Super Bowl XXXIX for the Eagles, when he caught four passes for 82 yards in a 24-21 loss to the New England Patriots. In 78 career games, Pinkston has 184 receptions for 2,816 yards and 14 touchdowns. ... We've never been big fans of Pinkston, but could say the same of Brandon Lloyd.
