The Facts:
GM Phil Savage and head coach Romeo Crennel dispelled rumors that Winslow's leg injury might be a threat to his 2005 season. "We're anticipating him being full strength sometime between May 1 and June 1," Savage said. Added Crennel, "He's been working every day in the offseason program, and he's been leading the pack a lot of times. I don't believe there's anything we should be concerned about. He's on course with his rehabilitation and we anticipate a full recovery."

We'd remind you there's a disctinction between anticipating a full recovery and a full recovery. ... And unless he fully recovers, it will be difficult for Winslow to terrorize opposing defenses with the kind of explosive bursts out of breaks that made him a number-one pick. ... Stay tuned.
