The Facts:
Vick’s lawyers have advised him to accept a plea deal from federal prosecutors in his dogfighting case, according to a person with direct knowledge of the case. The deal would most likely come with a recommendation from prosecutors that Vick, be sentenced to one to two years in prison. If Vick decides not to take the deal, prosecutors plan on bringing more charges against him.

Vick reportedly had until 9 a.m. Friday morning to accept the deal. That the deadeline has passed without a public announcement doesn't mean it an agreement isn't forthcoming. Vick's two remaining co-defendants entered their guilty please earlier this morning. In a statement of facts signed in connection with the guilty pleas entered on Friday morning by Purnell Peace and Quanis Phillips, Peace and Phillips admit to participating with Vick in the killing of eight dogs in April 2007, according to ESPN. ...
