Following up on a previous item. ... Henry left last night's game against the Cowboys in the second quarter with a sprained knee. Henry told Post staffer Bill Williamson the injury was not serious. "It's a day-to-day thing," Henry said. "It's nothing too serious."

That jibes with HC Mike Shanahan, who said after the game that Henry is believed to have a first-degree MCL sprain, which is mild, in his left knee and he could be available to play Saturday against Cleveland. Henry is scheduled to have an MRI today that will shed more light on the injury. Even if it is mild, Williamson suggests it wouldn't be a surprise if Henry sat out the rest of the preseason as a precaution for the Sept. 9 regular-season opener at Buffalo. ... Stay tuned.
