Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that an MRI on the bruised knee of Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell shows that he suffered only a bruise to his knee on Saturday night. Campbell is now day-to-day.

Campbell had said last night that he expected the knee to be stiff and sore this morning, but Washington Post staffer Jason La Canfora reports that neither is as bad as Campbell and team officials expected. There is little swelling and he's getting around much like he did on the sidelines last night. La Canfora added the feeling at team headquarters is that they were incredibly lucky with this injury and really dodged a bullet.
