The Facts:
Plummer, who turned 30 on Dec. 19, will begin his ninth season in the NFL and third in Denver. Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway predicts it will be Plummer's best. "Jake, right now, is in his prime," Elway said. "He's been in the offense for two years, so now he should know it inside and out. He should be walking into the best situation he's ever had."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Plummer, coming off a season in which he passed for 4,089 yards and 27 touchdowns but also threw 20 interceptions, is upbeat. "I'm just trying to get better each year," he said Tuesday. "When I go out there, I know what I'm doing. Going into my third year, I'm really comfortable with everybody on the team. Obviously I want to go out and perform at the highest level I can."
