The Facts:
For a time, Smith could not remember his first touchdown catch with the Giants. After he hauled in a 10-yard pass in the second quarter of a 13-12 preseason victory over the Ravens, Smith was inadvertently elbowed in the helmet from behind by safety Ed Reed and suffered a concussion. "Just a little minor concussion; I felt a little woozy afterward," he said. "After the play I didn't remember much. I got to the sideline and guys said I didn't know what I was talking about."
