Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jones is expected to be ready for the Sept. 9 opener, but as Daily News staffer Rich Cimini noted, medical experts say there's no guarantee it will be healed. A Grade I strain has a recovery time of two to three weeks; it takes one to two months for a Grade II strain to heal. As Cimini further noted, the actual extent of Jones' injury is unclear. It's safe to assume we'll continue to follow his progress closely.
