The Facts:
Contrary to HC Mike McCarthy's statement earlier this week, GM Ted Thompson said Morency's status for the season opener remains uncertain. Asked whether he's confident Morency will be ready, Thompson responded: "Confident is probably too strong a word. We don't know. But he's doing very well."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Thompson said he didn't think Morency, out since the first day of training camp with a knee injury, would practice this week. The status of DeShawn Wynn (quadriceps) continues to be uncertain as well, so rookies Brandon Jackson and Corey White likely will carry the load again in the preseason finale Thursday at Tennessee, provided the Packers don't claim a player off waivers as teams reduce rosters the next four days. The pair combined for 22 carries against Jacksonville; Noah Herron had the other three.
