According to the North County Times and San Diego Union-Tribune, the ankle injury Turner suffered in the second quarter of last night's game against the Cardinals was a high ankle sprain.

While the team has yet to comment on the severity of the injury, high ankle sprains can linger weeks and even months. Although he runs behind LaDainian Tomlinson, Turner has been asked to spell LT on a weekly basis.
