The Facts:
The Chiefs on Sunday signed veteran wide receiver-kick returner Eddie Drummond to a one-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed for Drummond, who was released by Detroit on Thursday. Reported by The Sports Ticker

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Drummond spent his first five seasons with the Lions, playing primarily on special teams. He averaged 23.6 yards on 213 kickoff returns and 9.8 yards on 108 punt returns. He made the Pro Bowl in 2004 following a season in which he returned two kickoffs and two punts for touchdowns. He is one of only three players in NFL history to accomplish that feat, along with former Chief Dante Hall and Bears kick returner Devin Hester. In five years Drummond has six total return touchdowns, two on kickoffs and four on punts.
