HC Wade Phillips said starting Glenn (knee) will return to practice Saturday. Glenn will miss all four pre-season games but the veteran WR is expected to be available for the Sept. 9 opener against the Giants.

The club set a 2-4 week timetable for Glenn following arthroscopic surgery Aug. 1 to remove a cyst on the back of his right kneecap. His presence gives the Cowboys a much-needed downfield threat. Third receiver Patrick Crayton has started in Glenn's place and moved into the slot in three-wide sets with Sam Hurd lining up outside.
