The Facts:
Brady Quinn keeps cranking out touchdowns, but Frye is the guy for Cleveland. In a 19-9 win Thursday night over the Bears, Frye started and played two innocuous series. Afterward, HC Romeo Crennel told the team that Frye will start the Sept. 9 opener against the Steelers. "Charlie is our quarterback," veteran WR Joe Jurevicius said.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While Frye getting the nod comes as no real surprise, Quinn has made a serious push since his arrival. In fact, for the third time in as many weeks -- in his longest playing stint since being drafted -- Quinn led a touchdown drive early in his shift against the Bears. As Repository staffer Steve Doerschuk noted, Quinn showed touch, precision and zip on a nine-play, 50-yard drive in the second quarter. ... It's safe to say Quinn will be a viable alternative should Frye struggle at any point -- even coming out of the chute Week 1.
