The Facts:
Burress claims he's ready for regular-season action. "This is really, probably the best I've felt all offseason," Burress, who missed most of training camp and all four preseason games with a variety of ailments, said on Friday. In fact, he said, if the season-opener was this Sunday -- as in two days from now -- he'd be ready to play.

Still, he said, his most recent injury -- his mysteriously sore back -- is something that bares watching. "It's one of those things where I never know when it's going to come," Burress said. "It's so unpredictable. When I get it, it just shuts me down. Hopefully I can strengthen it and get it better so it doesn't come back. ..." Unpredictable? That's not what Fantasy owners want to hear. Being that Burress is the one making this statement, we'd recommend listening. The risk averse will probably want to adjust their rankings accordingly.
