Blank, McKay Address Michael Vick's Legal Woes
(4/17 7:52 PT)

The Facts:
Owner Arthur Blank, GM Rich McKay and Vick all spoke publicly for the first time since a civil lawsuit was filed against Vick last month by a woman claiming the QB knowingly gave her a sexually transmitted disease. Blank and McKay expressed their disappointment in the lawsuit, but made it clear they support him ardently.  Reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
After addressing 350 youth football officials at the Falcons' Youth Football Summit, Blank said, "When things come up, as they do with players, are we disappointed? The answer is we are." The owner added, however, "[Vick is] here. He could have avoided being here; there are 50 million reasons why he could have [skipped out]." Vick also addressed the media Saturday, saying attorneys instructed him not to comment on the lawsuit. "I guess the more success you get, the more money, the more problems," he said. "It's a lot of love around here, and that's what I need. ..." Of course, some might argue that too much "love" was the problem in the first place.
