The Facts:
NFL Network's Adam Schefter has confirmed that New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning has a separated shoulder. Schefter reports that Manning could realistically return for the Giants' Sept. 30 game against the Eagles.

The Giants, however, will not confirm the shoulder separation and are saying the quarterback suffered an AC joint contusion. HC Tom Coughlin said in his Monday press conference that Manning is day to day. Coughlin was angered by reports saying otherwise. "I don't know where that report comes from," he said. ..." Still, the evidence that Manning's injury is worse than the Giants are admitting is growing and we'll once again recommend Fantasy owners with Manning on their rosters start planning for the worst-case scenario. And just because the Giants go with Jared Lorenzen (or Anthony Wright), doesn't mean you should.
