Buccaneers Release David Boston
(9/12 9:46 PT)

The Facts:
Just over two weeks after being arrested for driving under the influence, Boston was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Wednesday. Reported by The Sports Ticker

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
It could spell the end of a once-promising career for the veteran wide receiver who has played in only four games in 2005 and missed the entire 2006 campaign. On August 25, police found the troubled Boston passed out behind the wheel of his Range Rover with the engine still running. Police conducted a field sobriety test at the scene and determined that Boston had been driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. To take Boston's roster spot, the Bucs re-signed wide receiver Mark Jones, who was released by the club on September 1.
