Delhomme had to leave against the Atlanta Falcons with an ailing right elbow Sunday, but he doesn't believe the injury is serious. "It didn't feel right," he said. "It was just kind of bothering me a little bit. It's like a strain. Hopefully, it's just a little muscle in there. We'll see."

Delhomme began shaking his arm and motioning toward the sideline as soon as he delivered a short pass to Brad Hoover late in the third quarter. David Carr played the rest of the game, finishing off a 27-20 victory. Delhomme said the injury actually happened earlier in the quarter. "I was able to throw a couple of more passes after that," said Delhomme, who got his arm iced down and planned to undergo an X-ray when he got back to Carolina.
