The Facts:
HC Lovie Smith hinted Monday that he has already decided whether to replace Rex Grossman with veteran backup Brian Griese as the team's starting quarterback. But no official announcement will be made until at least Wednesday when the Bears return to practice. "Our evaluation process is going on right now," Smith said. "If you come out to practice Wednesday, you'll have a better idea of who will be starting at all positions."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Grossman has directed an offense that has scored just two touchdowns while committing 10 turnovers on 37 possessions this season. Griese hasn't started a game since Oct. 16, 2005 when he played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but the 10-year veteran could get the nod. Asked if he had already made a decision, Smith said, "I'm always thinking ahead, yes. ..." Our guess says Grossman gets another shot, but we'll continue to watch and obviously report back when it's official.
