According to Post-Dispatch staffer Bill Coats, Bulger is playing with two broken ribs and a sore knee.

Not a real surprise given the beating Bulger took against the 49ers two weeks ago. It would also explain some of his difficulties in Tampa Bay this week. ... At this point there's no reason to believe Bulger won't continue to start, but the injuries could become an issue at some point if the Rams don't start blocking better.
