In discussing the injured knee that ultimately kept him from playing in Sunday's loss to the Colts, Walker said: "It started getting a little worse than we thought. It's nothing to do with the surgery, nothing with the surgically repaired knee. It's just some irritation in there, fluid that had built up, and we just felt it would be best to sit this one out." Reported by DenverBroncos.com

Walker was referring to the reconstructive surgery he had two years ago on his right knee. In case you missed it, Walker missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, but said after the Friday workout he was "definitely playing. ..." Something worth considering when Walker makes similar statements in the future.
