A league source tells us that Bulger is getting benched. Veteran Gus Frerotte will take over the starting job for the 0-4 Rams, who host the Cardinals on Sunday.

That falls into line with local radio reports indicating that Frerotte is taking all the first team snaps in practice this morning. ... Bulger, of course, has been struggling to get the job done while playing with a pair of broken ribs. ... Stay tuned. We'll have more on this as the week progresses. For what it's worth PFT is also reporting that offensive coordinator Greg Olson is being demoted. Presumably, HC Scott Linehan will take over the duties.
