According to HC Mike Holmgren, FB Mack Strong has suffered a neck injury that will likely end his season. He said more details are coming but surgery is a possibility. Branch has a mid-foot sprain -- nothing's broken -- and will likely return to the team after the bye, which means he would miss the next two games.

So where does that leave the receivers? According to the Seattle Times, Courtney Taylor and second-year pro Ben Obomanu will be half of Seattle's receiving crew on Sunday against New Orleans. On Sunday, the Seahawks inserted Obomanu into Branch's spot, leaving Bobby Engram in his role as the slot receiver. Do they stick with that plan this week or do they move Engram outside into Branch's starting role? That's a question Holmgren said the coaching staff will wrestle with this week.
