Despite taking receiver Michael Jenkins in the first round last year, the Falcons ranked just 30th in the NFL in passing offense in 2004 and desperately need to provide additional targets for Michael Vick and White, who missed scouting combine workouts with a hamstring injury but ran a 4.45 forty before getting hurt, fits the bill. He'll compete with Jenkins, Peerless Price, Dez White and Brian Finneran for playing time. ... Last season, the 6-1 White set a Conference USA single-season record for receiving yards with 1,452 and ranked second in the nation in yards per game with 121. He finished his college career with 71 receptions and 14 touchdowns.
