The Facts:
According to HC Gary Kubiak, Johnson, who hasn't played since suffering a sprained left knee late in the Week 2 win at Carolina, may return for this week's crucial home game against division rival Tennessee. "He's progressing well; (we're) very, very hopeful that he's ready to go this week," Kubiak said. "We'll run him tomorrow. We liked the progress we saw last week, so we've just kind of got our fingers crossed that he's ready to go this week."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Sounds good -- if it weren't for those reports last week suggesting Johnson might not be ready to return until Week 11. We recommend a healthy dose of skepticism, meaning you'll want to follow his progress closely this week before taking the coach at his word. If Johnson is able to get in significant practice time during the week, it's time to start getting optimistic. We're not there yet.
