Watching Gore after the game, Press-Democrat staffer Matt Maiocco wrote: "I can't help but think it might be difficult for him to play next week against the Saints." Gore sustained a right ankle sprain in the first half. He had the ankle taped up and made it through the rest of the game on pure adrenaline.

HC Mike Nolan wanted to take him out of the game, but Gore wouldn't allow that to happen. Afterward, Gore needed help from a team trainer to hobble into the X-ray room. More should be known about the extent of his injury tomorrow.
