Return specialist Mark Jones has joined the long list of players out for the season and Clayton is expected to miss two weeks after Sunday's loss to Detroit. HC John Gruden confirmed the loss of Jones at a press conference Monday morning. Clayton's injury is still being assessed. "Clayton's getting an MRI at this point on his ankle," Gruden said. "We'll update you when we know more."

With the likes of Carnell Williams, Chris Simms, Luke Petitgout and Mike Alstott already on injured reserve, the Bucs have taken some punishment this season, particularly on offense. "When you lose three running backs, now three wide receivers, a tight end, a tackle, a corner, a defensive end. ... They do add up," Gruden said. ... Maurice Stovall could get more work with Clayton out -- although probably not enough to make him a consistent contributor.
