Gore left the game briefly with an aggravation of his right ankle sprain. But he was not listed on the team's preliminary injury report.

Gore carried just 12 times against the Saints, but his performance seemed to be a reflection of the team's overall offensive malaise. Gore, who called out OC Jim Hostler's play calling last week, was clearly frustrated again this week. But as Press Democrat staffer Matt Maiocco suggested, Hostler is in an impossible situation. He's either too conservative or now he's not running enough. The fact is that whatever he calls, it's going to look bad because nothing is working. ... Whatever the case, we'll continue to monitor Gore's progress in coming days.
