Alexander, already playing with a cast on a cracked wrist, left Sunday's game against the Browns with a sprained left knee and ankle. Alexander sat out one series before returning in the second quarter.

The NFL's MVP in 2005, Alexander has rushed for just 460 yards -- his lowest total through seven games since 2002. He has two touchdowns after setting the league record of 28 two years ago. Playing hurt isn't likely to make for a big day, but the fact he's willing to work through the nicks is encouraging.
