Jackson is expected to be back in the lineup for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints, HC Scott Linehan said Monday. "Steven looks good," Linehan said. "He feels better. I think the time off and being able to calm that (back) down a little bit was real good for him."

Jackson has had two weeks to recover from back spasms that forced him out of the Rams' 27-20 loss to the Cleveland Browns on October 28. ... Jackson has endured an injury-plagued season, missing four games earlier in the year with a groin tear. He returned against the Browns and provided a spark, scoring on a 2-yard touchdown run and rushing for 41 yards on eight carries. But Jackson was forced to the sidelines in the second quarter, when the spasms flared up. At the time, Jackson said overcompensating for the groin injury caused the spasms.
