The Facts:
Up until the latter part of this week, Johnson's foot, it turns out, was actually too swollen to get an accurate detailed picture of the damage. The team knew there was a crack but the doctors weren't sure how severe the injury is. Chiefs sources told FOXSports that Johnson will have an MRI on Monday to determine whether or not surgery will be necessary to repair his foot.

FOXSports insider Jay Glazer went on to suggest whether or not surgery is needed, there doesn't seem to be a lot of optimism from anyone inside team headquarters that he will return this season. Despite Johnson claiming the report he was done for the year was false, the players and coaches hardly believe he will return in 2008.
