Harrington will start at quarterback for the Falcons against the Indianapolis Colts Thursday night at the Georgia Dome.

The re-elevation of Harrington to starting status after he was demoted in favor of Byron Leftwich in last Sunday's 31-7 loss to Tampa Bay was not necessarily based on merit. Leftwich suffered a tailbone injury in the defeat and might not be healthy enough to play against the Colts. Chris Redman would serve as the backup if Leftwich were unable to go.
