Garcia is listed as day-to-day after suffering a back injury in Sunday's 19-13 win over the Washington Redskins. HC Jon Gruden confirmed Monday that Garcia has a deep back bruise, saying that it is too soon to determine whether the veteran signal-caller will play against the New Orleans Saints next weekend. Reported by The Sports Ticker

"We're going to evaluate it day to day," Gruden said. "That's the best I can do right now. We'll see where he is tomorrow and the next day. ... He might be ready to go Wednesday, he might not be. He might be ready to go against the Saints, he might not be. ..." Gruden said that he would not have a problem playing Garcia on Sunday even if he had been limited in practice. ... Bruce Gradkowski replaced Garcia against Washington, but Gruden wouldn't discuss a potential if Garcia can't go. Stay tuned.
