HC Tom Coughlin said "the idea ... has been planted from the trainers" that Derrick Ward (ankle/groin) will practice fully for the first time in over a month. Brandon Jacobs (hamstring) has not been cleared yet. Reported by the Newark Star-Ledger

Jacobs was optimistic he'll play on Sunday, but that doesn't appear likely. ... As for Ward, we recommend against making any hard and fast decisions until he actually makes it through a full week of practice.
