The Facts:
With Ricky Williams no longer an option and Jesse Chatman hobbled by a bad right ankle even before sustaining a neck injury Monday, the Dolphins are expected to re-sign running back Samkon Gado, whom they cut Monday to make roster room for Williams.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Despite Gado being the one cut Monday, the Herald believes he's more likely than Patrick Cobbs to start next week if Chatman can't play. Cobbs' special-teams play gave him the edge when figuring out which running back to release, but even Gado's limited track record as an NFL running back -- 217 carries for 838 yards in three seasons, most of that coming as a Green Bay rookie in 2005 -- outstrips the 47 yards on 15 carries Cobbs has gained in only 14 games over two seasons. ... For what it's worth the Herald article didn't mention rookie Lorenzo Booker.
