Javon Walker Fails To Report For Mandatory Mini-Camp
(4/29 12:14 PT)

The Facts:
Walker failed to report to the Green Bay Packers' mini-camp Friday, beginning a holdout after changing agents in February. "I'm very disappointed as I'm sure everybody is. We want our whole team here," coach Mike Sherman said. The team will fine Walker, a first-round draft choice three years ago. Sherman did not specify how much, but the maximum under league rules is $1,000 a day. Reported by the Associated Press

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
No suprises here, either. ... Walker, who has two years left on his contract, is believed to be upset about his existing contract after a season in which he caught 89 passes for 1,382 yards and 12 touchdowns to earn his first trip to the Pro Bowl.
