The Facts:
Schobel left Sunday's game at Dallas after taking a shot to the helmet while trying to make a catch on the opening series of the game. Schobel was taken to the locker room with what was called a head injury. His status wasn't immediately known.

Schobel was hurt on a hit by Ken Hamlin. The Cowboys safety appeared to try to turn his shoulder when he jumped to hit Schobel, but their helmets made hard contact and both players went to the ground. After the players remained down momentarily, they walked off the field with help. ... Schobel started in place of L.J. Smith, who was out with a knee injury. Rookie Brent Celek will get the bulk of the work now.
