Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
HC Tom Coughlin said Shockey is scheduled to have surgery by the end of the week, and that his place will be filled by rookies Kevin Boss and Mike Matthews on a rotating basis. To fill Shockey's roster spot, the Giants signed tight end Jerome Collins off the practice squad. Collins played at Notre Dame and was a fifth-round draft choice by the St. Louis Rams in 2005.
