Croyle was hurt when he lunged at Lions cornerback Travis Fisher, who was blocking for linebacker Paris Lennon as he returned an interception for a touchdown that put Detroit ahead 19-0. Huard hadn't played since Week 11. The Chiefs needed Huard to stay healthy because they didn't have a third quarterback active.
