The Facts:
Right now, Davenport's left shoulder is still not 100 percent after surgery March 11 to repair a torn labrum and torn rotator cuff. However, he decided to attend a branch of the Athletes Performance Institute in Los Angeles to rehabilitate that shoulder and overhaul his diet and conditioning practices. He was told that a big part of his injury problem was probably poor nutrition.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
At the suggestion of trainers, he now eats five to eight meals a day heavy in whole grains, Davenport said. His weight has actually increased from around 250 to 258, but he said his body fat has dropped and he expects to lose weight once he's able to start practicing regularly. ... Davenport also said he could have practiced in the mini-camp this weekend, but the medical staff decided it wasn't worth the risk and told him to wait until the June mini-camp before returning.
