The Facts:
Edwards could not catch up to a long throw from fellow rookie Charlie Frye during Saturday's rookie workout, but Frye said there was a reason. "His groin is tweaked a little bit," Frye said. "So he took it easy. When he's 100 percent, he'll go and get that ball."

Even with the tweak, Edwards was said to be impressive. "You could tell he has talent," head coach Romeo Crennel crowed. "He's smooth and he does things easily. It's not clear whether Crennel added the sky is blue and that water is wet. ...
