A source close to Favre told PackersNews.com staffer Peter Dougherty this week while he can't know exactly what's going on in Favre's mind, the 38-year-old is having more fun this year than perhaps ever in his career, and that he'd be stunned if Favre doesn't come back next season. ... The man left out in all this is Aaron Rodgers. Despite his solid showing in relief of Favre in Dallas, it looks like he'll have to wait another year for his shot. He's under contract through 2009.
