The Facts:
Although he missed most of the season with a sore knee, HC Gary Kubiak expects Green to be 100 percent when the offseason officially begins. Kubiak told reporters Monday the veteran won't need surgery to repair the knee. "He doesn't have an issue that requires surgery, just rest, and he's had plenty of that," Kubiak said. "I expect when we get started April 2 he is 100 percent.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Texans are eager to field an more consistent rushing attack, something they weren't able to do with both Green and Ron Dayne battling injuries. "I think one thing that's obvious is that we have to get consistency in who's running the football," Kubiak said. "We're counting on Ahman coming back and being 100 percent. He can be a huge factor for our team when he is. ..." We'd revise that to say "if" he is healthy. ... For what it's worth, Dayne has stated his desire to return to Houston.
