The Facts:
Recovering from an injured right quadriceps, Young's work was limited Wednesday as the Titans began preparations for Sunday's playoff game at San Diego. He took part in individual drills and seven-on-seven drills, but he walked to his post-practice media session with a slight limp and admitted he remains in pain. "There is still some pain, but I am all right. Everybody has pain. We all have pain," Young said. "I really feel like I am a fast healer. ... It is getting better. Overall I feel like the progress is good right now."

HC Jeff Fisher said that if the Titans had played Wednesday, Young probably wouldn't have been in the lineup. Young re-injured the quad in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Colts. Kerry Collins stepped in and guided the Titans to a come-from-behind, playoff-clinching win. ... We'll have more on Young's status as the week progresses.
