Brown, who has accounted for nearly one-third of the Houston Texans scoring during the franchise's three-season existence, has signed a five-year extension. The deal, worth about $8 million and including a signing bonus of $2 million, comes as Brown was about to enter the final season of the four-year contract he signed in 2002.
