The Facts:
Martz, known for his pedal-to-the-metal approach as a play-caller, is scheduled to interview today for the 49ers' offensive-coordinator position. The 49ers also will be looking for a quarterbacks coach after Cal hired Frank Cignetti on Sunday.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Martz, dismissed last week as Detroit's offensive coordinator, is the second to interview for the position since HC Mike Nolan fired Jim Hostler after the season. Former Georgia Tech coach Chan Gailey, a two-time NFL offensive coordinator who also served as Cowboys HC, interviewed with Nolan on Saturday. Nolan also has indicated an interest in interviewing Cam Cameron, who was fired as the Dolphins HC following a 1-15 season, and Brian Billick, who was let go as the Ravens HC.
