HC Wade Phillips indicated Monday that Owens will be a game-time decision for this weekend's divisional playoff game against the Giants. Phillips said Owens limped through practice Monday. "It's Monday, he probably couldn't have played today, that's probably where we are" Phillips said.

Owens has been sidelined since suffering a high ankle sprain in the Cowboys' 20-13 victory over the Carolina Panthers on December 22. By the time the Cowboys take the field next next week, however, he will have had three weeks to recover. Owner Jerry Jones said Friday on his radio show that Owens was making progress. Earlier last week, Owens removed the boot he had been wearing since suffering the injury.
