Nonetheless, the Jags re-signed receiver Charles Sharon to the active roster Friday and waived receiver Chad Owens. The move gives them extra assurance in case Williams can't play. Sharon spent the entire regular season and the first week of the postseason on Jacksonville's practice squad.
