Chad Johnson Unhappy And Talking About It
(1/11 3:34 PT)

The Facts:
Johnson's efforts to manufacture a trade from the Bengals hit full stride today when he took his complaints with the Bengals national on the Mike & Mike radio show on ESPN. "I was labeled selfish and a cancer, and it hurt," he said. "Fingers were pointed at me this year. If the team and the organization wants to further itself (make the playoffs), I think you need to get rid of the problem." Reported by the Cincinnati Enquirer

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Johnson went on to explain the lack of support from teammates was especially bothersome. "It hurt me," he said. "To do me that way and not to have my back. Things were said, and nobody came to my defense. ..." Remember: The Bengals are expected to try to retain T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who has one year remaining on his contract. Should the two sides agree to a new -- and certainly lucrative -- deal, do you think Johnson would be happy with the six-year, $35.5 million extension he signed in April 2006? Don't bet on it. ... Whatever the case, the Bengals have not heard the last from Johnson.
