The Facts:
Rivers has a strained MCL in his right knee and is questionable for the AFC Championship Game against New England, HC Norv Turner said today. "It's a different injury but a similar situation to Antonio Gates (last week). He's day-to-day," Turner said. "I doubt he'll practice earlier in the week. Hopefully he'll have limited practice late in the week. Right now he's probably questionable playing in the game. But he's got a chance. ..."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Rivers claims he was prepared to go back in against the Colts, but not in mid-drive on the drive the Chargers scored on. ... Bottom line? Don't look for Rivers to be anywhere but under center when the Chargers' offense takes the field in New England on Sunday.
